MAXUS NC TAP w/ MoS2   Chlorine Free Tapping / Threading Compounds with Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS2)

MAXUS NC TAP w/ MoS2 are multifunctional compounds developed specifically for cutting, tapping, reaming, and threading operations on ferrous metals. These non-petroleum,  polymeric-ester-based products demonstrate high film strengths and outstanding wetting properties.  MAXUS NC TAP  contains Extreme Pressure components, including MoS2, for increased tool-life and a superior finish on difficult-to-machine alloys.  Maxus NC Tapping Compounds are not formulated using chlorinated extreme pressured additives.

MAXUS GS8 PREMUIM CUTTING and GRINDING FLUID

MAXUS GS8 represents the next generation of Maxim's GS series of water-extendable metalworking fluids.  For enhanced environmental acceptance, MAXUS GS8 is formulated without the use of DEA, DCHA, formaldehyde, or formaldehyde-releasing biocides.  When mixed with water, MAXUS GS8 forms a trans-lucent emulsion that exhibits excellent cooling properties for superior finishes and increased tool-life.  MAXUS GS8 is suitable for the machining and grinding of ferrous and most non-ferrous alloys.

AUTOMAX  METALWORKING OILS

AUTOMAX represents a line of multi-purpose, light colored cutting fluids specifically designed for use in the machining of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys where the use of oils containing "active sulfur" may result in the staining of non-ferrous parts and machine-tool components.  Automax oils are not formulated using chlorine additives.  Instead, a combination of extreme pressure sulfurized polymeric olefins and friction-modifying compounds promote optimum performance while exhibiting improved environmental conditions for operators such as lower oil-mist as well as improved thermal stability and lower smoking tendencies. Automax oils are available in seven ascending grades.

DURAHONE HH -  TUBE HONING OIL

DURAHONE H-H is a low-viscosity petroleum-based oil formulated expressly for the precision tube-honing operations of ferrous metals and alloys.  With a minimum flash point of 275F, Durahone HH is not regulated by DOT.  DURAHONE H-H minimizes the danger of incidents due to combustion or combustion vapors, thereby increasing operator health and safety ....While lowering costs of compliance and insurance.  The effectiveness of its high-detergency characteristics protects against hone-loading while maintaining a very low evaporation rate. Honing oil composition and viscosity stay virtually constant.

SDS+GHS is HERE!!!!

Maxim is in the process of  replacing MSDS(s) with HAZCOM SDS+GHS in compliance with the coming HAZCOM/GHS requirements.  The first "roll-out" of SDS' will be around February 1, 2015.  This will include most metalworking oils, hydraulic/machine oils, most rust preventives, etc.  Water-extendible metalworking fluids, soaps, and soluble rust preventives will follow as they are published.

06/01/2016 UPDATE:  Full Compliance

Container labeling, updated to include GHS formatted information will follow shortly thereafter.
